If at any point, you get this window, contact an Admin (Marketing or IT) to turn this on. Also contact IT as it shouldn't ask at all.
- Sign in with Dropbox
- Enter your work email. This should show “Single sign-on enabled”. Click on “Continue with single sign-on”
- If not, go to https://my.fullerton.edu/dropbox to activate your Dropbox account. Check email for activation status
- Login with your work account
- Click on “Open” or “Allow” (this will look different depending on your default browser)
- Dropbox desktop client will sign in, Click on “Choose Folders”
- Have checked only the folders you will need access to. This will make it available and speed up indexing. This can be changed later if needed. Then click “Save”
- Click on “Advanced settings”
- Make sure that “Save files as online only” is checked. Click on Done
- When you get this dialog, enter your own login credentials. Also contact IT as it shouldn't ask at all.
- Go to your project in Dropbox. If the file is not there, it may still be indexing. Click on the dropbox icon in the top right tray to check the status of sync’ing.
- Right click / two finger click / control click to open the context menu on your active project and “Make available offline”. When you are done
- The folder will show a green checkmark when it is available offline
- When you are completely done, you can reclaim the space by re-opening the context menu and clicking “Make online-only”
